Georgia Resources for Information

The Georgia Department of Public Health website contains current information on the coronavirus in Georgia. This includes information on cases of the virus by county, as well as frequently asked questions and helpful fact sheets.

In addition, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is working on the public health response to COVID-19.

We encourage you to visit 211 for helpful resources 24 hours a day that you can use with families and staff.

Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning has closings and information for early care and learning programs. Their FAQ about child care and COVID-19 is here.

Georgia Department of Education has a tracking system for school closures.

Voices for Georgia’s Children is emailing information to their listserv about Georgia’s schools that have been funded to provide food for children who are out of school. Read about that here.

For a list of child care closings, visit qualityrated.org.

Check your county website for updates.

Please let the GAEYC team know if we can be helpful to you in answering any questions!
