Executive Director Christina Parker, President Lisa Belliston, and many others represented Georgia at the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA) annual conference in Williamsburg, Virginia January 15 – 18, 2014. The conference theme this year was “Children’s Play: Past, Present, and Future.” Despite cold weather and some snow, attendees enjoyed talking about the many aspects of play, attending a Public Policy Lunch,  networking with others from SECA states, and exploring Colonial Williamsburg between conference sessions.

One of the traditions of the SECA conference is the Parade of States at the opening session. Lisa Belliston represented Georgia well in the parade by carrying in the Georgia flag.
